2011-Jan-12: I added two RP logs to the bottom of the stories page.


2009-Jan-26: I added an RP log between me and Kanosint. Kanosint winds up becoming prey to a giant eagle!


2008-Mar-05: I added an RP log between me and Nick the zoo keeper. He gets to know his crocodile better than he'd intended!


2004-Feb-22: I added an RP log of Wolfflax and I to the stories section. Sorry about the lack of updates over the past year. Hopefully there will be some new clips and images posted sometime in the next month or two.


2003-April-24: I updated the Video clips section with some amazing scenes from Naruto. Thanks to BeoWulf and Rodent for the tip!


2003-April-05: I updated the Video clips section with two selections from Pagemaster. I also replaced the Children of Dune and Jackie Chan Adventures clips with superior versions in light of what I've learned here:

I finally figured out how to convert MPEG2 to MPEG1 without suffering color distortion: Using VirtualDub to frameserve to TMPGEnc does the trick. Apparently, TMPGEnc's MPEG2 decoder is quite lacking and this is an effective workaround.

As an added bonus, VirtualDub automatically plays MPEG2 video at the internal framerate (24 fps for film) rather than at the "indicated" framerate (30 fps for SVCD). This makes the output files a little smaller while improving the quality (since the extra 6 frames -- having been interpolated into existence on-the-fly -- provide no new video information).
